the daily gardener blog
My daughter picked this ornament during one of our trips to Michigan, when we visited the Bronner Christmas Store. If that name doesn’t ring a bell, let me tell you that it is the largest Christmas store in the world, and most importantly, one that is open all year round. They are only closed four days a year, and Christmas actually is one of them. If you ever get nostalgic about Christmas sometime in July and start daydreaming, you can go there and become completely immersed in lit fir trees, every color and material ornament ever invented, and carols on continuous loop.
The child in me gets giddy when I’m in that place.
